Phra Ajahn Samart plays a crucial role in the daily operations and logistics of running our busy community temple. A Dhamma student from a very early age he first ordained as a Samanera at the age of twelve. Moving from his home temple in Chiang Rai to Wat Sriboonruang he completed his full Bhikkhu ordination at the age of twenty and has been based here in Fang for twelve years. Phra Ajahn Samart holds a Masters Degree in Education and provides invaluable help and support for our program and its guests. Phra Ajahn Samart is also the Director of the school based here at the temple
